What You Should Know
- Only one person from each professional classification is permitted in each chapter of BNI.
- All participants must represent their primary occupation, not a part-time business.
- Attendance is critical. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute.
- It’s not “Net-sit, or Net-eat, it’s Net-work”. Participation in the chapter by every member is the key to the success of a group. Members participate by bringing bona-fide referrals and/or visitors to their BNI chapter.
- Networking requires commitment. The most successful chapters of BNI are comprised of participants who are sincerely committed to helping one another through networking. They are a team.
- We will teach, coach, and mentor those who are willing to learn.
- As a participant in BNI, you are responsible for abiding by the Code of Ethics, policies, and guidelines of BNI.
- Membership decisions are made by the Chapter Membership Committee and are subject to reference checks, proper licensing, and whether that Chapter already has a member in your professional classification.

- Step 1: Visit the FAQ's Page
- Step 2: Fill out the form on the contact us page – or gather that information before calling us. By giving us as much information as possible, we can suggest a Chapter that best fits your profession, location, and schedule. We have Chapters with Breakfast and Luncheon meetings. What would work best with your schedule?
- Step 3: Attend the local chapters meeting(s) we determined would be the best fit for you as a guest and see what it is all about. You can attend up to two meetings as a non-member, and then you must have an approved membership application if you wish to continue. The Chapter will provide you with an application for membership that must be fully completed before we will consider your membership.
- Step 4: If your profession is represented in every existing or forming chapter, and you have completed steps 1-3 above: Discuss how you might be able to start the process of creating your own Chapter with the Las Vegas BNI Executive Director, Leslie Taylor.
Cost and Applications
- There are one year and two year participation options.
- Stay after your visit in Step 3 above for a Visitor Orientation and to receive an application form. If you apply to participate in BNI, your application will be reviewed by the chapter's Membership Committee, and you will be notified of the status before the next meeting.
