BNI provides a positive, supportive, and structured environment for the development and exchange of quality business referrals. It does so by helping you build personal relationships with a team of other qualified business professionals.

Last year, members of BNI passed millions of referrals that generated BILLIONS of dollars of business for each other.  Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of salespeople representing your business, and in return you are representing their businesses. If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want. In this case it is increased referrals!

Networking requires commitment, personal accountability, engagement, and ongoing learning and growth. The most successful chapters of BNI are comprised of participants who are sincerely committed to helping one another through building long-term, meaningful business relationships. They are a team. "It's not Net-sit, or Net-eat, it's Net-work". Participation in the chapter by every member is the key to the success of the group. Members participate by making introductions for each other by bringing bona-fide referrals and/or visitors for fellow members. The members are a team! As a participant in BNI, members accept personal responsibility for complying with the BNI Policies and Guidelines. These Policies and Guidelines were created by an International Board of Advisors, made up of members.

What You Should Know - A Few of the Policies are outlined here:

  • Weekly meetings last for 90 minutes. Members need to arrive on time and stay for the entire meeting.
  • Only one person from each professional classification is accepted into a chapter of BNI.
  • Members must represent their primary occupation and not a part time business.
  • Attendance is critical. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute.
  • Members are required to bring referrals and/or visitors to contribute to the Chapter.

Membership Investment

There is an initial Application Fee and participation fees that can be paid for one or two years. Chapters will have individual venue fees. Please see the chapter Secretary/Treasurer for exact information. When you apply to participate in BNI your application will be reviewed by the chapter's Membership Committee and you will be notified of the status before the next meeting.
